Chemically changes the brake dust stuck on your wheels into a form that's much easier to rinse off.
Brake dust is what makes your wheels look dirty. When you squeeze your brakes, the brake pads press on the discs which are made of cast iron. So it’s no surprise that over 90% of brake dust is particles of iron. These iron particles can be difficult to remove as they are hot when they hit the wheel surface causing the lacquer to swell and they get stuck there. Other types of dirt tend to build up around the around the iron particles and these tend to be oily in nature.
REACTIVE wheel cleaner binds with the iron particles and turns them into a form that is much easier to rinse away with water. You can see the chemical reaction taking place as a deep colour purple is produced. REACTIVE also contains sophisticated degreasers to remove the oily dirt and grime that also build up on your wheels.
Spray REACTIVE onto the wheel and leave it to dwell leave for a few minutes until a deep purple colour can be seen. Agitate using a soft bristle brush. Rinse off with plenty of clean water using a pressure washer or garden hose.
